COVMUG Meeting Recap 9/15/2009

>At this months Central Ohio Vmware Users Group (COVMUG) meeting, we got to see some really neat stuff!
Reflex Systems presented their data center automation software. They demonstrated so excellent management tools that can apply security policy and perform administrative tasks based on queries.

We also got to find out what went on at vmworld 2009! You should really check out all the vidoes on youtube of the 3 datacenters they built in order to support the event. Some of the highlights of the discussion include:

  • Support for site-to-site vmotion with an OC12 link
  • api for vcloud interface
  • terramark vcloud express for a hosted ESX environment
  • new features with PCoIP and VMWare view
  • also check out ta2222 about esx in kroger grocery stores!

All in all it was a great meeting. Thanks to the COVMUG leadership for having these meetings!
